Legal document. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: Mentions the date 9 Av 1412 Seleucid, which is 1101 CE. The issue involves a man and his daughter Maḥfūẓa a sum of dinars (35? 55?), and living arrangements in a mustaraqa (a kind of mezzanine, see Goitein, Med Soc III, viii, A, 2). Witnesses: Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel; Yeḥezqel ha-Kohen b. ʿEli; Ḥiyya ha-Kohen b. Yeshuʿa. On the facing page there is a text about bills of divorce, in a different hand.

Petition, draft, from an ex-government servant asking for work, from the period of the Fatimid caliph al-Ḥākim (996–1021) or possibly earlier. Verso: tax receipt in the hand of Mikhaʾil b. ʿAbd al-Masīḥ (see separate entry).

State document in Arabic script with a large ʿalāma (al-ḥamdu lillāh ʿalā niʿmatih wa-[........]). There are several different text blocks. One of them on verso says "the sum is 20 dirhams, al-ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi l-ʿālamīn.' Needs examination.

Medical prescriptions for "the little one" (al-ṣaghīra) Sitt al-Bayt(?) and for her son. In Arabic script. There is a section at the top for what each of them should use, then separate sections underneath for each one individually. Cf. the one 'bulk' prescription written for multiple people edited by Lev and Amar.
