Announcement of the commemoration of the death of Rabbi Yaʿacov Abu Haṣīra in Damanhur, urging the visitors to maintain order – 3 December 1961 – Museum of Islamic Art – (number 126) – in Arabic. (information from Ḥassanein Muḥammad Rabīʿa, ed., Dalīl Wathā'iq al-Janīza al-Jadīda / Catalogue of the Documents of the New Geniza, 47). Following his death, the tomb of Rabbi Yaʿaqov Abuhatzeira (1806-1880CE) became a yearly pilgrimage site on the 19th of Tevet. MCD.
