Fragmentary scrap that contains multiple hands. The recto has been identified as a responsum, whereas the verso is a short note to Abu al-Ḥasan (or Abu-l-Hakan), requesting him to give the bearer wine. There are two hands on the recto: the more fainted one states the problem (line 1-5), a more fresh black ink continues the answer to the query (lines 6-10). The second hand is more cursive and uses more connections. The subject of the responsum on the recto seems to be wine and wine selling, which makes this a interesting case of paper reuse: the main subject of both the older and the newer documents is wine. It is also possible that the shaykh, mentioned in the verso of the document, is the same Abu al-Ḥasan as in fragments Moss. II 135.1 and TS NS J 224.1. See Phukoiava's database "Wine Accross the Geniza" for translation. (Information from Ekaterina Pukhovaia)

Letter fragment in Judaeo-Arabic. Addressed to Abū ʿAlī. The sender says that "all the doc[tors] prescribed [...] for me... and after that they prescribed me the iṭr[īfal]...." On verso, assuming this is still the same letter, he complains of his old age and frailty (or perhaps poverty). He expresses gratitude to the addressee.

Yosef ha-Levi, Nissim b. Nahray, Yeshuʿa b. Yakhin, Ṣedaqa b David ha-Kohen), agree to unite (יתעצבו) on behalf of plaintiffs in the Jewish courts who have rights against other people. There are at least two more agreements involving communal affairs. The same Yefet b. Elʿazar is the addressee of T-S 13J19.6. (Information from Goitein's index card.)

Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Small fragment.
Letter from Yeḥezqel, unknown location, to Avraham ha-Melammed, probably in Fustat. In Judaeo-Arabic. The writer asks the addressee to find out from Abū l-Bahā' if he has woven the blanket (malḥafa) as promised. When the writer previously met with Abū l-Bahā' regarding this matter, Abū l-Bahā' said that he was ill but would bear it and finish the work (annahu yataḥammal al-maḍaḍ). (The other instances of maḍaḍ in the PGP database generally refer to a figurative distress, but the context here suggests an actual illness.) If Abū l-Bahā' has not fulfilled his promise, then Yūsuf from al-Maḥalla is willing to make the blanket "in two pieces." Information in part from Goitein's notes. ASE.
