Business letter from Sulaymān b. Shaʾūl to Abū Zikrī Yehuda b. Mūsā b. Sughmār. In Arabic script, with the address in Judaeo-Arabic (indicating that the bearer of the letter was a Jew). The sender expresses anguish over news from the Maghrib, including the death of colleagues and the loss of merchandise in ships. He is also dismayed at the news that 'the young man, the kātib, Ibn al-Maghribī," has separated from the addressee; Sulaymān urges him to help this young man however he can. (Information from Aodeh.)

Business letter in Arabic script. Addressed to Abū l-Ḥasan ʿEzra b. Ismāʿīl (or ʿAwda b. Ismāʿīl, according to Sabih Aodeh). The sender, writing from Ramla after returning from ʿAsqalān, is not named, but Aodeh identifies him as Ṭayyib Ibn Majjānī, based on comparison to T-S Ar.38.91 (same addressee). Same cluster: CUL Or.1080 5.5, T-S NS 327.11, and T-S Ar.38.91.

Business letter in Arabic script from Faraḥ b. Ismāʿīl in Alexandria to Menashshe b. David, Fustat, October 22, 1050. Farah is worried because of the absence in letters from his father. He writes to his father’s neighbor and business partner - Menashshe. Letter from Moshe b. Yaʿaqov al-Miṣrī, in Damascus, to Yūsuf b. Dā'ūd b. Shaʿya, in Fustat. Dated: 19 January 1055 CE. Concerning financial transactions. Moshe received 25 dinars and two qirats from Abū Manṣūr Dā'ūd b. Sulaymān. The money has to be returned in Fustat to Abū l-Faḍl by way of loan from Abū Naṣr Salmon b. ʿEli b. Salmon. Moshe also asks Yūsuf to write a letter to the Qāḍī, probably the qāḍī of Tyre, Abū Muḥammad b. Abī ʿAqīl, concerning the shipping of merchandise. Confirmation of receipt dated Sunday, 10 Dhū l-Ḥijja 446 AH, which is 12 March 1055 CE.
