Fragment from a legal deed written by Halfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Dating: 1127–38 CE, due the fact that we find part of the reshut formula (for Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon, 1127–39 CE). The parties are Abū Saʿīd b. Yaʿqūb(?) known as Ibn Kawjakh (mentioned also in T-S NS 226.107. On this name, from the Persian for 'small' see India Book IV/A, p. 355, note 115), [...] b. Rajā/Tiqva the elder, and Abū l-Munā (last line). AA

Informal note from Manṣūr b. [...] the Jew to Jamāl al-Dīn. In Arabic script. Dating: No earlier than 1225 CE, based on the currency. The purpose of the note is to ask/tell the addressee to give the bearer 50 kāmilī dirhams. Written on the back of a parchment fragment of Megillat Esther.

Book list in Judaeo-Arabic. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (dates: 1100–38). T-S NS 190.1 mentions: וטריפות וניקוי... לרבנו סעדיה זל... דרג לבני פאס יג . . . כאגד. Maybe a work on slaughter by Saadya, a rotulus (? daraj), and [a book written on] paper (kāghad). T-S NS 190.2 mentions several more works on paper, one book whose title includes al-Alfāẓ, and one "in his handwriting." There are probably more fragments of this list to be found in the Geniza.

Damaged legal document written by Halfon b. Menashshe Halevi. Regarding manufacture of wine between Yehoshu'a al-Akawi known as Ibn Bunan(?), Abu Sa'd Nathan b. Yosef and Zedaqa. Also a certain Mansur is mentioned. The year seems to be 1438 =1127.

Legal deed in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Fragment from the lower left corner. Dated: First decade of either Adar I or Adar II [14]35 Seleucid, which is 1134 CE, under the authority of Maṣliaḥ Gaon. A declaration is made in favor of a certain Abū l-Ḥasan. A parnas is also mentioned.

Legal fragment in the hand of Halfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Dated: 1443 Seleucid, which is 1131/32 CE. The fragment is from the bottom part of the deed mostly contains references to the words inserted between the lines of the deed. Names mentioned: Yefet; Ṣedaqa b. David ha-Kohen. On the top a reference is made to נגיד הגולה = the Nagid of the diaspora. The document dates to the tenure of Maṣliaḥ Gaon ruling, but he was never titled Nagid, so maybe the reference here is to the Nasi Daniel. AA
