Letter from Yefet b. Menashshe to one of his brothers. In Judaeo-Arabic. Fragment (upper right corner of recto). Seems to refer to a shipwreck (cf. ENA 2739.3, which isn't a direct join) in which 30 dinars worth of goods and 13 fellow Jewish merchants (aṣḥābnā) drowned.

Possibly a letter from a professional scribe. In Judaeo-Arabic. Very faded. Mentions "finishing all of the sections of..." (istīfāʾ jamīʿ furūʿ), including a Murshid (Guide) and two books of Abū Zakariyyā (al-Rāzī?).

Mentions 4,000 of something, 8 of something else, Abū ʿImrān, and two people with intriguing names: Abū l-Ḥasan Ṣadaqa Ibn al-Qārūs (“Son of the Lever”) and Abū Zekharya Ben Yiju (this fragment is not cited in India Book III—or anywhere else for that matter).

Letter/petition addressed to a high authority. In Judaeo-Arabic. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. He describes the details of a case in Alexandria, in which a man evidently lost a lot of money, and now he is crying (bākī) for help and reliant on charity. Verso is blank. AA. ASE.

Letter addressed to R. Sh[...]. In poetical Hebrew. May be a recommendation for the bearer. Refers to "his son Eliyya," Alexandria, "peace and tranquility," and R. Shemuel. The sender may conclude by saying he loves the addressee like his love for his son Netanel.
