Trousseau list. In Judaeo-Arabic and Aramaic. About 30 items are preserved. Information from Goitein's note card.

Legal document. In Judaeo-Arabic. Location: Fustat. Dated: 1507 Seleucid, which is 1195/96 CE. Involves Abū l-Fakhr and Khalaf b. Hillel. A sum of 22 dinars is mentioned; a period of two years; and the dowry of "his daughter" Sitt al-ʿIzz. The document is very faded, but more should be legible with effort. Verso seems to be a continuation of recto, but also mentions a mu'akhkhar (delayed marriage payment) perhaps of 50 dinars. The handwriting is probably that of Moshe b. Levi ha-Levi. Needs further examiantion. ASE.

Hebrew liturgy or poetry.

Letter of appeal for charity from Sālim of Tyre to an unidentified addressee. The letter (in Judaeo-Arabic) is on verso, while recto is a poem (in Hebrew) by Yizḥaq b. Khalfūn (in the same hand as the letter). The content of the letter is brief and quite formulaic (misfortunes, want, illness). There is some unusual orthography: גזקי ומלי for רזקי ומאלי. Literary text in Judaeo-Arabic involving a skinny woman and a fat woman. One is "thin of waist, great of buttocks, sweet of bosom." Possibly in the hand of Berakhot b. Shemuel.

Accounts in Judaeo-Arabic. Late. Verso has jottings in Hebrew and Arabic script.

Notes on halakhic matters (lecture notes? draft of a treatise? responsa?). One side discusses a gentile converting to Judaism.

Blessings for amīr al-mu'minīn. In Judaeo-Arabic. Possibly a draft of a petition to a Muslim ruler

Document in Arabic script, calligraphic, large script, wide space between the lines. Chancery hand? But not a decree fragment.

Legal document in Judaeo-Arabic (not a letter as catalogued). Involves a partnership between Yeshuʿa and Salmān; 37 dinars; business in 'the west' and perhaps in Tyre. It is not immediately clear whether it is the same document on recto and verso or two distinct documents. Needs further examination.

Private account written by Nahray b. Nissim. Dating: ca. 1055. Details about business with Abū Sahl ha-Kohen (probably Menashshe ha-Kohen b. Avraham) as well as with Abu ʿAlī ha-Kohen. Mentions different amounts of money, including dirhams of the expensive type which contain a large amount of silver called 'nuqra.' (Information from Gil, Kingdom, Vol. 2, #280) VMR
