Letter or petition. In Arabic script. Quite fragmentary. May mention the blessed Nile. Includes a version of the raʾy clause (fa-li-l-ḥaḍra ʿuluww al-raʾy fī dhālika). Greetings (awfā taḥiyya wa-ikrām) to various people, including the faqīh Abū l-Qāsim. Needs further examination.

Receipt for the capitation tax for Khalaf b. Yaʿqūb in Fustat. Dated: Looks like 551 AH, which would be 1156/57 CE if correct.

State document. Accounts from the central fisc. Begins: waṣala ilā bayt al-māl al-maʿmūr.... Lower down refers to Mālik b. Ibrāhīm. In the bottom text block on recto, may refer to the capitation tax. At the bottom of recto there is a ṣalwala. There are registration mottos (ʿalāʾīm) on both recto and verso. Needs further examination. ASE & MR.

Deed of acknowledgment (iqrār). In Arabic script. The first 7 lines are preserved. Made by al-muʿallim Aḥmad(?) b. [...] b. ʿUthmān al-[...] the sugar seller (al-sukkarī) for another, Jewish sugar seller. Needs examination.
